Join us for Big Chat 6

Monday, May 23, 2016

Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) in Sefton are inviting people to come along to their sixth Big Chat events to talk about health services with local commissioners and to give their views about their local NHS.

As well as hearing an update on each CCG’s latest work, residents will be invited to take part in workshop style sessions, where they will be asked for their views to influence how services develop in the future.

Dr Rob Caudwell, chair of NHS Southport and Formby CCG, said: “We would encourage people to come along and get involved with our discussions around shaping future services. The public’s view is vital in what we do to move plans forward so we value their opinions.”

As part of the CCGs’ pledge to the Sefton Dementia Action Alliance to encourage people to become ‘Dementia Friends’, the Alzheimer’s Society will also be at the events so that people can take part in a short session and receive training if they wish. This will illustrate the difference that small things can make to those living with dementia.

The NHS Southport and Formby CCG Big Chat will take place on Tuesday 7 June from 5.30pm-7.30pm at The Royal Clifton Hotel, Promenade, Southport, PR8 1RB. Information on previous ‘chat events’ can be found here.

Anyone who is interested in attending is asked to call 0151 247 7000 to confirm their attendance or they can email southportandformby.ccg@nhs.net.
