Ever thought about becoming a doctor, nurse, therapist, scientist or NHS manager?

Find out more about these careers and others, as well as work experience and volunteering opportunities at an open day hosted by The Walton Centre on Saturday 2 July 1-4pm.

This is an exciting opportunity to talk to the centre's staff, ask questions, see demonstrations and find out about what goes on in one of the region's best hospitals.

Careers talks aimed at high school and sixth form students will take place at 1pm and 2.30pm. The talks include information about careers and points of entry into the NHS as well as a talk from a neurosurgeon who will describe their career and demonstrate brain surgery on a watermelon – and attendees can have a go too.
